Sunrise in the city of Chihuahua, where the Chihuahua al Pacifico train begins its journey to Copper Canyon.
And this is sunrise from my balcony at the hotel Divisadero, which, as you can see, sits on the canyon rim. When conditions are right the fog fills the canyon and rolls through like cappuccino foam. The hut on the left is the home of a Tarahumara indian family. I could hear the kids yelling and dogs barking from my room.
This is me trying out the new zipline over the canyon. Yes, OVER the canyon. It’s incredible. Thousands of feet in the air, flying at ridiculous speeds for distances of a few hundred feet to nearly a mile.
And their are flat parts to the trip too.
Did you visit a farm or were in the presence of livestock on your trip? No, U.S. Customs and Immigration. I certainly wasn’t.
